An online store dedicated to the retail of lingerie, prêt-à-porter, special collections and accessories was designed to answer the exacting standards of Etam. The platform features a sophisticated product catalogue with precise categorization, flexible product visualization and a Flash-based zoomer.

Users can browse the numerous thematic sections on the site, search for specific products or filter items by size and type. A user-friendly wizard guides users through the ordering process—from adding products to their shopping basket to performing online payments by means of the integrated third-party payment system.

The versatile administration interface warrants the ease of ongoing contents update. Separate modules have been dedicated to the management of catalogue synchronization, client data, promotions, discounts and gift-voucher processing. The back-end also allows for associating products to be suggested as options when a product details page has been accessed.

Functionalities for processing orders and order tracking via email have been implemented. The application supports real-time synchronization with an ERP system and a dynamic connection with the client’s distribution system.
The system is based on PHP 5, MySQL 5, AJAX, HTML and CSS 2, 3-tier logical architecture.
