The IVY™ (Interactive Video Yields) solution is a versatile tool for managing and distributing video contents via broadband. StangaOne1 designed and developed the administration module that serves as the backbone of the IVY™ platform, as well as the integrated desktop application that controls the encoding process of the raw footage.

To encourage users to interact with the videos, dynamic promotional elements such as ClickSpot™, captions and subtitles can be introduced via the administration module. When inserted into the movie, these elements make it possible for the system to record viewers’ response and to generate reports.

Efficient broadcasting of each item is achieved by specifying the applicable linguistic, geographic and demographic characteristics of the target audience. Mechanisms have been implemented that foster indexation by search engines.

The back-end is based on Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 with AJAX technology and embedded Flash players. The system also uses Flash Remoting for communication between the Flash front end and ASP.Net-based back-end.
